Kostas Vourekas is a graduate of the Architectural Engineering School of the National Technical University of Athens -NTUA (2007). He holds a M.Sc. in “Urban and Regional Planning” from the Architectural Engineering School, NTUA (2010). He is a PhD student at  the department of Urban and Regional Planning of the National Technical University of Athens. His thesis is titled “The Emergence of a new System of Spatial Planning in Greece in the Context of the Debt Crisis”. He has worked on many urban planning and environmental projects as a professional planner including the biggest urban projects in Greece during the last years
